How to register for a tournament?
Go to the event page that interests you and click on Registration.
Check that you meet the requirement(s) to participate then click on Confirm.
To know if you are properly registered for the tournament, you must have the text ✅ Ready to play!
What does the crown above your WLS icon mean?
This crown means you are the team captain. You can invite or kick your teammates.
How to invite my teammates to a tournament?
To add your teammates, you must click on the + button
Then enter their WLS username and click on Invite.
- They can find their WLS username in the top right corner by clicking on their WLS icon.
You are now waiting for your teammates to accept the invitation in their notifications.
The loading bar (...) and the red frame: they have not validated their prerequisites.
The loading bar (...) has disappeared and the red frame has become gray: they have validated their prerequisites, they are ready.
Your teammate will receive a notification in the small bell in the top right corner.
If they don't see the notification, ask them to refresh the website (F5 key). Once the invitation is displayed, they must click on Accept. As you did, they must validate all prerequisites and click on Accept.
- All team members must validate the prerequisites to confirm their registration. A ✅ Ready to play! message appears above your team list once registration is complete.
How to change team captain, remove a player from a team?
First, only the team captain can perform these actions, the one with the crown above their username!
You can give the lead to one of your teammates or exclude them by clicking on the three small dots in line on your team member.
- If you kick one of your teammates or if you change teammates during the tournament, your points will be reset!
How to join a tournament match via a code?
First, only the captain of your team, the one with the crown above their username can do the procedure to get the code.
When the code is available on the tournament page you must click on the Play button.
Then the code will appear, you will have 45 seconds to join the queue on Fortnite.
To enter the code on Fortnite, by sliding down from the lobby, you should have the Custom Key button.
In the input area you can paste the code, or enter the code found on the tournament page.
How to find the Tournament Settings game mode?
Generally tournaments are in the Tournament Settings game mode.
Click on the magnifying glass in the top corner of Fortnite.
In the input area, enter: Tournament Settings
Select the first result.
- All team members must have the game mode in favorites to be able to play in it, if you have put the game mode in favorites and it still doesn't work, restart your game or remove the mode and put it back!
You can click on Play after checking that you have chosen the right team size, to be in the queue and wait for the match to start.
- Repeat this procedure according to the number of matches you want to play!

How to limit point problems in the leaderboard?
PC Players:

Enable your replays in Fortnite settings otherwise the WLS Client will have no effect.
Console Players:
Enable your replays in Fortnite settings otherwise the WLS Client will have no effect.
- Players on Switch 1 cannot enable replays in Fortnite settings so it's not necessary, but Switch 2 players you must do it!
Point issues on one or more matches in the leaderboard?
PC Players:
You must drop the .replay file of your game in the Drop your replay area on the tournament page.
To find the replay file of your unaccounted match, on Fortnite click on the Career tab then Replays.
Then click on Open replay folder.
Drag and drop the replay file in the Drop your replay area on the tournament page.
Console Players:
You must provide the tournament administrator generally in a discord server, proof of placement and your number of kills via the match replay.
No matches counted in the leaderboard for your team?
This issue happens when a member of your team is not playing with the correct Epic Games account linked to WLS!
All team players must check this, go to Fortnite settings, last tab:
Look at your Epic account ID.
Go to WLS settings in Connected Account and check that you have the same Identifier
In my case, this is not the case so I could not be in any leaderboard if I don't participate in tournaments with Epic Games account named WLS Test.
You must therefore play with the same Epic Games account linked to War Legend, otherwise either you play with the Fortnite Account linked to WLS or you recreate a WLS account by linking this time the correct Epic Games account!
What to do if I joined the tournament discord but it still doesn't work?
This happens when you haven't linked the correct discord account to WLS
